Key Focus Areas
I believe teachers deserve higher compensation to better support their critical role in educating our future leaders. Our students need teachers who are well-equipped and capable of developing strong leadership skills in young people. Increased teacher salaries would attract more qualified candidates to the profession and help retain experienced educators. Currently, teacher salaries are insufficient to support a comfortable living in today's economy, causing many talented individuals to pursue higher-paying careers in other fields. This brain drain negatively impacts our public education system. I'm concerned about the direction some schools are taking, particularly regarding curriculum not appropriate or holds no educational values or scientific consensus.
Teachers & Classrooms
Resorces: It's important that our teachers get the support and resources they need to teach our kids. They should not have to spend money out of their pockets for equpiment and supplies they need.
Student Impact
Our future: I want to make sure our students are educated on facts not negtive persuasive opinons. Pride in our city, state and country is important if we want our youth to help grow and advance our future.
Community
Envolvement: I want familes and our community to be more proactive with our schools, get involved in our programs that require faimly.
